             Roger Mark Walton earned his MFA in Painting from Brooklyn College. There he received a graduate fellowship while he worked with Lennart Anderson, Lois Dodd, Paul Gianfagna, and Lee Bontecou.

.               Since that time, he has exhibited extensively and has been granted awards from the Elizabeth Greensheilds Foundation, the Ohio Arts Council, and a Presidential Fellowship from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

.               His residencies include Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and the Vermont Studio Center.  And, he has traveled through out the U.S., and to Rome, Florence, London, and Paris to visit art museums and galleries.

.               Roger Mark Walton’s artwork has been published in books by M. Stephen Doherty, and Marilyn H. Phillis. Work. His art work has been selected for the U.S. State Department’s – Art in Embassies Program on two occasions.
