             Roger Mark Walton earned his MFA in Painting from Brooklyn College. There he received a graduate fellowship while he worked with Lennart Anderson, Lois Dodd, Paul Gianfagna, and Lee Bontecou.

.               Since that time, he has exhibited extensively and has been granted awards from the Elizabeth Greensheilds Foundation, the Ohio Arts Council, and a Presidential Fellowship from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

.               His residencies include Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and the Vermont Studio Center.  And, he has traveled through out the U.S., and to Rome, Florence, London, and Paris.

.               Roger Mark Walton’s artwork has been published in books by M. Stephen Doherty, and Marilyn H. Phillis. Work. His art work has been selected for the U.S. State Department’s – Art in Embassies Program on two occasions.
